Today is the day!
THE STRANGER IN OUR BED, is available today, Friday, 1st July 2022, as it airs for the first time on Showtime across North America, premiering at 11.15 am (EST) but is already available on demand. General release will take place on 23rd August 2022 in the USA and the film will also be available on DVD and Bluray for you to own.
For those wondering when we can see this in the UK, well as it stands we are still waiting on the full details, but it has been shared that the film will be available from 5th September in UK and Ireland. There are other countries and other dates across the globe, all will be revealed as and when we can.
This week though, I can share with you the poster artwork and the trailer and for all North American viewers.
A great deal of collaboration goes into the making of a film. I wrote the screenplay and it was produced by Terri Dwyer and Dean Fisher for Buffalo Dragon, and the very talented Giles Alderson directs. You’ll notice that the film is stylish and beautifully shot by DOP Rich Swingle. And let me not forget the fantastic score by Composer Ian Arber.
And now the actors: What a class Act! Samantha Bond (Downton Abbey) plays Isadora , the stunning Emily Berrington (Humans) is Charlotte and her real time husband, the handsome Ben Lloyd-Hughes (Sanditon) plays Tom. There’s a host of supporting roles brilliantly filled by Bart Edwards (Ewan), Nina Wadia (Mrs Tanner), Joseph Marcell (Stephan), Alex Hanson (Peter), Andi Osho (Paula) and Paul Casar (Troy). There’s even a cameo from me and my husband, David J Howe, as a loved up couple in a cafe (LOL).
I’m so delighted with the film and I hope that you, dear viewer, enjoy what all of these talented people created. And right in the middle of lockdown!
